What do we eat? The kitchen secrets of our wagging tails
Woof! Since you're here, you probably want to know what goes into our bowls. We'll tell you a secret right away: we, Australian Labradoodles, are great sweet tooths, but our "Mother" (i.e. the Breeder) makes sure that we eat not only tasty food, but above all wisely!
Our bellies are unique
Do you know why our fur is so soft and we have so much energy to play? It's down to what we eat. Our breed can sometimes be sensitive, so our diet is not accidental. We don't get leftovers from dinner (although the smell of roasted chicken is sometimes tempting!) or cheap balls from the supermarket that contain more grains than meat.
Our menu: Only the best!
In our breeding, we focus on diversity and the highest quality. What most often ends up in our bowls?
- Real meat: We are proud of our muscles, and they are built on protein. We eat high-quality food, often grain-free, that is full of beef, lamb and fish.
- Vegetables and fruits: Yes, we eat vitamins too! Sometimes we end up with grated carrots, apples or blueberries in our bowl. This is our natural "superfood".
- Healthy joints: Because we are active dogs, we get supplements to support cartilage and joints. Thanks to this, we can jump and run for many years!
Puppy eating school
Before they go to their new homes, our babies learn to eat solid meals. Mom makes sure that their little tummies slowly get used to different tastes. We provide each puppy with a "bowl instruction manual" for new owners, so that a sudden change in diet does not result in a stomach revolution.
Biting is our passion
We love chewing! It relaxes us. Instead of your shoes, we prefer natural chews: dried beef ears, chews or deer antlers. This is our way to clean teeth and peace of mind.
The golden rule of our cuisine:
Remember that a Labradoodle can look as if it has not eaten for a week (we have mastered this to perfection!). But a loving family is one that takes care of my lineage. Overweight is the enemy of our joints, so please - love us wisely, not only with delicacies!
